Match Preview: Barcelona vs Sevilla, Barcelona looking to make a massive comeback

Tough test for Barcelona today as they host Sevilla today in the second leg of the Copa del Rey Semifinal.

Barcelona would be looking to overturn a 2-goal deficit as they lost in the first leg away from home. Although they will be filled with confidence as they just defeated Sevilla over the weekend, it would be naive for them to not expect a sterner test tonight.

Sevilla would give this match their all as it is realistically the only chance they will have at the title. After suffering a shocking defeat at home against Barcelona over the weekend they will be hurting and looking to bounce back with force against Barcelona and end up in the final of the Copa del Rey.

Barcelona will be buoyed by their away win at Seville and would be looking to cause their opponents further misery by masterminding an impressive comeback to progress to the final. Koeman might choose to rest Pedri despite making a shocking return to the squad after an injury scare last time out.

Sevilla might be looking to sit back and punish Barcelona on the counter-attack and although this would give the Catalans more time on the ball which suits their approach, it would also make them vulnerable to being hit on the break. Koeman might stick to the 3-5-2 formation he used last time out to counter this threat.
