Nigerian players in Europe: Saturday Roundup – Zaidu Sanusi shines again for Porto

Zaidu Sanusi keeps showing why he should be Super Eagles’ first-choice left-back with another impressive performance for Porto.

Here is how Nigerian players in Europe fared on Saturday:

ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE

Alex Iwobi played again at right wing-back and put in a good performance. It only makes sense to continue using him in that position.

His team has however fallen to mid-table and their early season form has become a thing of distant memory.

Burnley 1 – 1 Everton

EREDIVISIE

Tyronne Ebuehi was average for his team but would be happy they got an away win against the league leaders.

He was taken off in the 80th minute before his team went on to score the winning goal.

Rating – 6/10

Ajax 1 – 2 Twente
