BREAKING: AC Milan is set to play in Europe after CAS accept their appeal

UEFA has decided to overturn AC Milan’s ban from European competition.

The Rossoneri were hit with a one-season ban from the Europa League by UEFA as a result of their failure to comply with Financial Fair Play restrictions.

However, the Italian club took their appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, they have decided to accept it and suspend the sentence, although it is yet to be officially confirmed.

Milan’s delegation, headed by chief executive Marco Fassone, took their case to the CAS on Thursday and appear to have managed to achieve the outcome they wanted.
