In the Corriere dello Sport yesterday, President Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed he had rejected an offer “worth €45m plus €5m in bonuses from Manchester City for Jorginho.”
According to the same newspaper today, new Coach Carlo Ancelotti has given the all-clear for the Italo-Brazilian midfielder’s sale this summer.
However, it will be for no less than the €60m stipulated price.
Manchester City aren’t the only ones interested, as Manchester United and Jose Mourinho are also looking towards the 26-year-old.
Chelsea had been contenders if Maurizio Sarri had taken over, but seem to have abandoned their negotiations for the Coach.
