Milan reportedly set to exchange Andre Silva with Monaco veteran Radamel Falcao
Reports continue to grow that Milan will exchange Portugal international Andre Silva with Monaco veteran Radamel Falcao.
Rossoneri director of sport Massimiliano Mirabelli fuelled the rumours when he attended Colombia’s friendly match against Egypt on Friday evening.
Falcao also told Italian television Mediaset Premium that it was “an honour” to be linked with the San Siro giants.
Andre Silva is also wanted by Watford, but Monaco would be able to provide a swap with a reliable and gritty centre-forward in the mould that Coach Gennaro Gattuso appreciates.
The 32-year-old is under contract until June 2020 and joined Monaco in 2013, with loan spells at Manchester United and Chelsea.
Milan paid €40m to get Andre Silva from FC Porto last summer, so along with Falcao, Monaco would have to hand over a substantial amount of cash too.
