RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner is reportedly on Milan’s shortlist, but any transfer will depend on Financial Fair Play.
The Rossoneri are looking to sign a striker this summer, with Lazio’s Ciro Immobile at the top of their shortlist.
Gonzalo Higuain is another option if Juventus decided to sell the Argentine international, and Gazzetta dello Sport believes that they are also interested in Werner.
However, all three of them would cost around €70m to buy this summer, so the Diavolo must wait for UEFA’s judgement on Financial Fair Play.
The Rossoneri have been denied a settlement agreement, so could well be thrown out of the Europa League.
If that happens, their targets will have to be scaled back accordingly, with sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli also enquiring about Simone Zaza.
