Samuel Umtiti has expressed his desire to remain at Camp Nou and to extend his contract.
The France international has a release clause of 60 million euros, which has prompted interest from Manchester United, among other clubs.
Barça, therefore, are looking to renew his terms and increase the clause, something which Umtiti hopes will happen soon.
“I’m at a club that allowed me to realise my dream of playing there,” Umtiti told L’Equipe from France’s pre-World Cup camp.
“I’m still under contract at the moment. So for me to leave, either they throw me out the door or I decide to leave [laughs].”
