Bayern Munich may lose Robben for rest of Real Madrid tie (Marca)

While the club aren’t ruling the winger out of the return game completely, it will be a race against the clock for Robben to make the trip to Spain.

Robben came off in the first half of the 2-1 loss and Munich confirmed a groin problem for the Dutchman without posting a timeframe of recovery in an official statement, which also updated fans on Jerome Boateng’s situation.

German media are already fearing he will miss the World Cup having sustained a hamstring injury at Allianz Arena, certainly ruling him out of Tuesday’s game.

Finally, Javi Martinez was also substituted due to a bruised head and Bayern medical team have ordered the midfielder to take two days off training before returning as normal, if all goes well.
