MFM FC goalkeeper, James Ayeyemi has dedicated the Olukoya Boys’ 2-0 win over Heartland FC to the supporters.
The game was played behind closed doors but that did not stop the Lagos-based outfit from picking up three points on match day 27.
“I am very happy that we won today more so that I had to save from the spot. We did miss our fans but unfortunately situation demand that the actions of some few people has cost the fans not to see us play,” Ayeyemi told Goal.
“But I still want to dedicate this win to the fans. They were at the gate begging to see us play, the love shown by the fans is really motivating. Even while outside at the stadium they sang the club anthem and continued to cheers us. That alone means so much to us, it has shown that the fans truly love MFM FC.”
The Olukoya Boys still have two more NPFL home games to play behind closed doors.
