The Owena Waves are in fifth position on the Nigeria Professional Football League ladder and their last visit to Nnewi ended in a 0-0 draw.
Both sides go into the match in good form, and Mine believes that his team have the ability to win at the Ifeanyi Ubah Stadium.
“FC Ifeanyi Ubah are a good side, but if we want to be genuine league contenders we’ve got to have the belief that we can win these games. There is the pressure and expectation of delivering. To back ourselves to win the league title, we have to be confident to play sides like FC Ifeanyi Ubah,” Mine told Goal.
“We have won two games in a row. That will gives us a good barometer to see where we are. We are in for a huge physical, mental and technical examination.
“We have a good team come Sunday, but we will be hugely motivated by the greatest challenge in Nnewi. We have the strong self-belief that we can beat them.
“We still recognise that we’ve got to put in a level of performance that is above and beyond our wins against Lobi Stars and MFM FC.”
