#NPFL: Boboye Positive Abia Warriors Will Regain Form Against Plateau United

Kennedy Boboye

Abia Warriors’ head coach, Kennedy Boboye has blamed injuries for reasons for their woeful outing in Kano last weekend and that they hope to correct the lapses when Plateau United visit them on Sunday.

The Umuahia side were beaten 5-0 by Kano Pillars last weekend and Boboye told Goal that over seven first team players are currently down with injuries while another four travelled out for
trials.

However, he has sounded optimistic that Abia Warriors would recover from their away defeat to Sai Masu Gida when they tackle Plateau United on Sunday.

“I am not trying to make excuses but the injuries we have in the team and some that left for trials decimated our team before the Pillars game. The fans should not give up on us because we are ready to come back against Plateau United,” Boboye told Goal.
