Elneny Set To Make Debut For Arsenal, Coquelin Returns

The Gunners’ boss has fielded a strong side for the visit of Burnley as the north London club look to continue the defence of a trophy they have won two seasons in succession

Arsene Wenger has handed a debut to January signing Mohamed Elneny while Francis Coquelin returns to the Arsenal side for the first time since November.

The Egypt international midfielder joined a fortnight ago from FC Basel but has so far been an unused substitute in the draw against Stoke and defeat against Chelsea last weekend and will start alongside Coquelin in central midfield.

The Frenchman has been badly missed sinced he damaged knee ligaments during November’s defeat at West Brom, while Arsenal are further boosted by the return of Alexis Sanchez to the starting line-up following his comeback as a substitute against Chelsea.
